My first podcast interview! The Ancestral Kitchen Podcast.

I was so honoured and delighted to talk with Alison Kay and Andrea Huehnerhoff on their wonderful Ancestral Kitchen Podcast recently. We recorded this interview a while back now, so I listened to it again this morning on my morning walk, with a smile ear to ear!

How precious to be able to share and connect with two women doing great things in central Italy and northwest Washington State, USA! Three timezones in one podcast!

We covered some interesting topics on sourdough bread making, sourdough starter health/maintenance, my simple/easy approaches (and why they are important), home flour milling, using whole grains, 'ancestral' soap making ideas and much more! Big thanks to Alison @ancestralkitchen and Andrea @farmandhearth on Instagram for the opportunity to meet and share with them.

The episode is now live and available to download from the Ancestral Kitchen Podcast web page or listen from your favourite podcast platform.

The Ancestral Kitchen is a twice-monthly podcast hosted by Alison, a European town-dweller and Andrea, living on a newly-created family farm in northwest Washington state. Alison and Andrea chat about all things eating, cooking and living with ancient ancestral food wisdom in a modern-world kitchen. You can find them both on Instagram (active links on their names in bold at the top of the post).

I can’t wait for our next chat. I hope some of you get to listen and enjoy! 🙂
